The Peasant Top
Altered design from a 1950's pattern. Elastic neckline, sleeves, and bottom. Gussets on the underarm for unrestricted movement.
"Peasant" inspired clothes were popular play wear for both children and women through the 40's and 50's.
This top can also be made in a long length (without elastic on the bottom) to be tucked into skirts or pants.
